Christine McGrath started making jewelry from stained glass and found objects as a teenager growing up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She continued working with stained glass and discovered that sandwiching paper and fabric between layers of glass offered up limitless possibilities, as seen in her collection of unique and colorful ornaments and décor. These pieces are whimsical, while still maintaining simple design qualities, and are featured in shapes that include stars, hearts, birds and trees. Now living in Ontario, Canada, McGrath’s art really comes to life by the Christmas tree lights and adds sparkle to any part of the home.
