How Carryover Qualification Works
Think of it this way: Your 2026 purchases determine how you start in 2027. If you earned Platinum I level in 2026, you’ll begin 2027 as a Platinum I retailer and receive all the benefits immediately. Your 2027 purchases then determine the Platinum level you’ll start at in 2028. To maintain your current level, you’ll need to meet the same purchase threshold in 2027, or you can grow your purchases to qualify for the next Platinum level and unlock even greater benefits.

Do I have to re-qualify each year?
Not the way you used to. Your 2026 purchases set the level you start 2027 at, and your 2027 purchases set the level you start 2028 at. There is no gap, no waiting period and no dropping back to the bottom on January 1st.
When do my benefits begin?
On your very first qualifying order of the year. If you finished 2026 at Platinum I, you are a Platinum I retailer on January 1, 2027 — freight cap and Net 90 terms included.
Did product discounts go away?
They were combined, not removed. Product discounts and freight benefits are now a single, larger freight discount. One number to track instead of several calculations stacked on top of each other.
What’s the easiest way to reach Platinum level?
The new Platinum Basic level. $2,500 in qualifying purchases across the calendar year earns an 11% freight cap and Net 90 terms — the lowest entry point the program has ever had.
What are considered qualifying purchases?
Portfolio product shipped between 1/1/2027 and 12/31/2027. Willow Tree is not included in Platinum qualification — it has its own Diamond program.
What happens to my current 2026 benefits?
Retailers who achieved a Platinum level in 2026 will automatically be transitioned to start 2027 at that same level. This means retailers can start taking advantage of Platinum benefits immediately instead of waiting to earn them throughout the year.
Retailers who were not Platinum members in 2026 but purchased at least $2,500 in Portfolio volume will automatically start 2027 as Platinum Basic with immediate benefits.
